Warwickshire Road Race League

The Warwickshire Road Race League is a collection of races organised by local running clubs.

The objectives of the league are
- To foster team racing in road races and to give added incentive to runners not normally in the prize list
- To encourage the quality, spread and diversity of road races throughout the County
- To ensure good support for local events to enable those events to be staged annually
- To give extra incentive for friendly rivalry and competition

Individual Scoring
Everyone who takes part in the race will be given a point dependant on their place in the race. The league takes each runners best 5 results (for 9 races in the series),  6 results (if there are 10 or 11 races) or the best 7 (if there are 12 or more races) to get the final placings
Team Scoring
Each club takes the best n-1 races where n= the number of races in the league. This allows each club to host a race and not be penalised for volunteering instead of running. The league takes the 6 fastest men and 4 fastest women from each race.
